That Toronto trade is horrible for Calgary. Trading a top pairing dman signed long term, a decent middle 6 foward and a top 3(don't want to start the argument who is 1, but I don't think anyone has him out of top 3) goalie prospect in the world for 2 players who can potentially walk. One of which is a cap dump

Garlands off the market last I heard. Beauvillier is on the block now. Vans not retaining either, they're looking for cap space and they've been very clear on that.

The guys we want to move are Lindholm, Dube, Hanifin, Tanev and if it makes sense and it’s possible Markstrom, Backlund, Vladar, Sharangovich and Nikoleyev

I know Zadorov’s Snake of an Agent Milstein is pushing for a Trade as part of his negotiation tactics, but I don’t think Big-Z is Fully & Completely wanting out of CGY; he’s just frustrated, so I’m hoping he’ll fire said Agent and re-up in CGY still

And IF/WHEN we Trade those Players, it’ll be for Picks, Prospects and Players we need to a) Get Younger b) Make Room for the Guys Coming Up and c) Bring in More Skill

Nylander is the only thing here that does that. I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing in guys like Garland 30% Retained, Beauvillier 50% Retained or Duclair, but we need Centres and RDs more than more Wingers, so Jarnkrok would be of more interest. At least we could use a guy like that throughout the lineup and in our Bottom-6 as he gets older and decline and the only way we fit any of them in is if we move Dube out this season instead of in the off-season
