He has been suprisingly good this season and would help out the right side quite a bit. Money works well with sending off Knight who has struggled quite a bit in Charlotte this season, and they get a solid defensive defenseman prospect and a 2nd

Definitely makes some sense for them if they try to build off of last years run

Is Spencer Knight, struggling in the AHL, an upgrade over Tarasov, who returns from IR very soon and would require waivers? I don't know that he is. Add in removing one of the only veterans on the youngest team in the league? I don't think either team considers the Florida deal.

I'm not opposed to the Hertl deal. I'd prefer Lindholm for the same cost, but I would be fine with this especially since Hertl's already under contract. The top ten protection on the pick is key.

Damn it would be hard to see Hertl go but that’s a sweet return. Definitely believe Hertl makes any team better
