Done at the TDL if VAN is still rolling and CGY is still struggling.

Is it a fair deal or does more need to be added?

VAN and CGY
VAN gets a big bottom 4 D, who they can extend. As well as a middle 6 fwd upgrade, who is an RFA at the end of season.

CGY receives a 1st rd pick, a inconsistent middle 6 fwd who can maybe retrieve a mid round pick with retention at the TDL, if not he is a UFA this yr. They also get a prospect (A VAN 2nd rd pick from 2021)

VAN and NYR
VAN takes the gamble on Kakko and gives up Dube plus a pick and prospect

NYR takes the gamble that Kakko won't become much more and gears up for this year's playoffs

At least Kakko is very good defensively. Dube, a prospect and 3rd round pick doesn’t do anything
