Appreciate the feed back. What is the asking price you're hearing? They were talking about it on the radio here in Winnipeg and saying that the believed ask will be a 3rd and a player.

A 2nd would be the want but if it’s a 3rd and a player it can’t be that player.

The last thing Winnipeg needs is an expensive bottom pairing LHD.

3.75 mil is expensive for a guy who can bring an element of toughness back to a team that are severely missing since Buf left? I don't think a single team out there would say that he is expensive and not valuable to a team.

He's Ben Chiarot except worse defensively. $3.75 is expensive for a bottom pairing guy, especially a LH one that the Jets have less than no need for. If you have a really good 1,2 or 3D that can carry Zadorov, he can be acceptable in a top 4 position short term. If you plan on playing him on the 2nd pair, without someone to carry him long term, which Winnipeg doesn't have, then you and up being Calgary.

Sure, he can be an okay piece on lots of teams, but the Jets don't have the cap space or need for yet another bottom pairing guy. The Jets need top 4 defenseman, not more bottom of the lineup guys.
