I would rather have Durzi than Dumba, and I don't think the Coyotes have a want/need for Rodrigue.

The cost to dump Campbell is not worth the cost of his buyout. Edmonton would be much wiser to use their assets to acquire pieces, not shed them.

Bourgault (1st round pick), a 2nd, and a 4th isn't atrocious. Dumba is a 2nd pairing rental, who won't fetch much on the market at the deadline. Ingram has never been a starter but is playing okay this season. Rodrigue is an up-and-coming goalie with a .912SV% last season and a .968 so far this season. Desharnais is a reliable bottom-pairing D and an absolute giant. There is a chance Campbell turns it around too. There was some historically bad PDO/puck luck happening in Edmonton this fall. I don't think it's an unreasonable trade.

I wouldn’t consider desharneis a reliable 3rd pairing more like a liability whenever he’s on the ice oilers will never win with him on the blue line
