Hmm. Probably don't wanna give all that up for Novak although he is worth it in a vacuum. I'd rather Run McMichael at 2C and look at cheaper UFA options for 3C or find an internal option (Lapierre, Protas come to mind). Also probably look at moving Jensen in the off-season and try to add another big body for the blue line. Hopefully also Nylander comes in at a slightly lower number. Big fan of adding him.

Interesting take, I would personally move Darcy over Charlie. Lindgren has been a very bright spot for the capitals this season. Also I feel like Kuzy could get a better return as he has been playing well being with Ov and Wilson. I would say that we could get a solid young player for Kuzy if we wanted to retain.

Wouldn't move either of them. I know Shepard has had a good sv% in his two starts but he's looked really shaky in both IMO. If you need to cut cap or bring back mid-round picks there are multiple other places I would look to before Lindgren. Novak is an interesting target but if it's a deadline move I would rather move the 24 1st.

Moving Lindgren is more because I think Shepard will get more starts this year (Kuemper and Lindgren both have had injury problems lately) and hopefully he'll continue to look good. Which would make a goalie expendable, and Lindgren makes the most sense to me because he is reasonably priced. If those two games are all Shep gets this year, I hold onto Kuemps and Lindgren
