I think this was just a case of SDPN spitballing

We all know it would probs be Klingberg going to CGY

As Toronto would want 2 strong RD and than either Liligren or Timmins third pair.

Klingberg probably has Calgary on his NTC. Brodie probably does not.

They both probably do but klingberg doesn’t have a choice it’s waive or be sent to the minors

Brodie’s probably leaving in the off-season anyways. Be smart to get something for him while they can, his game has taken a pretty noticeable step back. He’s not in the long term plans in Toronto right now
