Nashville does in fact decline but I just want to point out saros is not a top 3 goalie. Sorokin, ullmark, shestirkin and even vasy when he’s healthy. I’d say he’s comfortably in the top 10 and really Nashville will likely trade Askarov who I would attempt to target if I was Detroit.

Saros is infact a top-3 goalie. I'd put Sorokin ahead, and maybe Shersterkin, but Saros would be right there with him. You gotta keep in mind that Saros doesn't have even half the quality of defensemen in front of him as those other guys.
Plus, Nashville would probably trade Saros before Askarov considering that would likely mean they're entering a rebuild.
