Gibson declines the trade to Canada, Verbeek declines retaining on Gibsons contract.

Anaheim declines on bailing the Oilers out and takes their place in the post season.

No, we're not trading Gibson with retention for Broberg, Pickard and a third.

Go check goalie stats this season buddy.

As I've been saying since I joined this site, Gibson is a competitor. When he had a team in front of him that he believes in, he puts up elite performances. At this point he probably doesn't even want out of Anaheim.

Well maybe if those stats stay the same until TDL he will have more value but the last 2 seasons he hasn’t been great and I can agree he’s competitive when the team is good

Id also like to point out here his 21-22 pre and post all star split. That season the Ducks made it as high as 2nd in the standings before we traded Lindholm, Rakell, and Manson.

After the team found out they were breaking up the band, everyone's play suffered. It's really hard to show up and give your all when your boss doesn't believe the team can do it.

Once again John Gibson declines any trade to a Canadian team.

And Pat Verbeek isn't eating $6,000,000 for what is essentially garbage outside of Broberg who's nothing special either.

the trade also include a 1st and 3rd
Campbell isn't a bad goalie, he just isn't worth 5mil.

The fact that both fan bases says overpay is funny.

We're not saying overpay, were saying Anaheim doesn't touch the deal.

Unless you're stating that Anaheim is overpaying here.
