Fleury was quoted during training camp that he wants to make a decision on his future at the end of the season. Toronto would give him the most play time as he would share the net with Joseph Woll, while also being on a competitive team. Minnesota will still be paying a combined $14,700,000 towards the Parise and Suter buyouts with Jesper Wallstedt ready to take his spot on entry-level money, Toronto will beat their offer given the cap crunch should he decide to continue playing.

If it's not Fleury, I believe Toronto will sign another goaltender at backup money similar to what I have given Fleury.

Leafs aren't paying willie anything over 10.25M x8 which is 82M in total. Any other team signing him for 7yrs to match that will have to pay him 11.71M x7 which isn't happening imo.
