Oilers aren’t trading the 2024 1st there’s just no chance it’s to risky to trade right now and I hate to say it but its a potential top 10 pick

You don’t think they’d trade their 1st rounder to ditch the Campbell contract AND add Ullmark? Are you serious? They have McDavid and Draisaitl in their prime, they can’t even fathom a top ten pick right now, or it’s just as well kiss 97 and 29 goodbye cause they’ll be walking.

Sharks kinda get the short end of the stick here.
Campbell plus Bourgault and 25 1st is the bare min to move him.

Sooo sharks are moving Blackwood retained for 2 years and Hertl to move the 1st up 1 year, a 3rd and Trent Fredrick.

I like the basic framework of Hertl to Boston for Ullmark, then Ullmark to Edmonton for Campbell, 2024 1st, plus other picks/prospects.

Origin post needs more for Sharks. Especially since they are giving up Blackwood too.

Agreed.........they have to do everything in their power to make it work this year. Drai is able to extend this summer and if they miss he probably wont. They can't play a full season next year with him being a pending UFA. They've run out of rope and need to fix it ASAP

BOS def needs to add a good pick or prospect, and EDM needs to add a piece too

I think the return to the sharks is fine from Edmonton but yea a decent prospect or high pick is needed from Boston to make this more balanced. Or at the very least remove the retention on Blackwood.
