Don't see the blues retaining for 3 years tbh. If Hayes was a 1 year contract sure but don't think they will do 3

Blues need to rebuild a proper team and burn that defense to the ground

If we do that. Maybe we should start with a more pressing contract to move than Hayes at 3.6.

What the Blues paid is irrelevant. The issue here is what it would would cost fir the Blues to part with him retained for three seasons. Two different situations.

Oh definitely just stating that the blues need a rebuild and everyone thats not thomas kyrou and maybe buch should be available (obviously no young players like neighbors ect)

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were. Outside of maybe Parayko. But with that, I’m not sure using a 3 year retention slot on Hayes should be priority when it would probably need to be used on others
