Maybe you missed where I said draft picks going wherever to balance trade. But even as is. Framework is not “horrible”. It’s not the end all of valuations. But the Athletic had Theodore at $9.6M surplus value (and he’s arguably performing better this year). Roy $2.2M surplus. Leon $7M

Draisaitl is a great player but Vegas doesn't need him. Why weaken the D by trading Theodore? This is making a trade for the sake of making a trade. Redundantly redundant.
