That being said, there are still some moves to be made to ship out/decrease salary. I wouldn't be surprised to see Schmidt go to arbitration.

Is that bad? How much will that cost likely to keep/sign all of those players anyways? Seems like should have enough room unless they average more than 3M each smile. So what like 4-5M to get them all under contract or closer to 7M?

Complicated Rules.
But there is a hidden reserve for Vegas. If Ckarkson and Grabovsky are on the LTIR the team is allowed to exceed the designated salary cap ceiling by as much as the cap hit of the contract for the players entering the LTIR.
