Wild would need quite the sweetener to consider trading for a more expensive player with one less year under contract while also creating a pairing of two 5'9" players. Not Guerin's style.

I really don't see any reason the Blues would want to do that, nor do i see much of a reason they'd want to trade Sundqvist at all. He pretty much did everything he could to be here, and he's played really well is a fan favorite, and is trusted by the coaching staff in most situations. There's no real value to be put on that, but it's a really good reason why it's about a 99.99% chance he wont be moved.

Zboril at his current salary probably has no value unless Boston retains to make him a minimum. We don’t have the cap room to do this

I’d rather keep Grzlecyk and just use his skill set. Lohrei isn’t ready defensively. He needs to work on items, but you see the offensive skill set. It’s pretty obvious.

Exactly nothing about that fits the Blues needs. The offer is kinda insulting, to be honest. Sunny chose to come back to STL for peanuts because he loves the place and the feeling is mutual. He's not going anywhere, and certainly not for pocket lint.

Fair enough, I was just looking for a player with that kind of play style and thought Sundquist would be a good fit.
