If you upgrade the 2024 4th to a 2025 2nd on the Buch deal that might be closer to the value needed.
Blues might even be able to retain, since Petterson will need his bag soon. No way he should be asking for any less than 11-12 million.

Funny how before last season we were all looking to dump MP to Detroit for a 3rd round picks. My times have changed. Not saying this is the right package for MP but he should not be untouchable. How much more do you pay a defensive D man??
