They also wouldn't have gotten out of LTIR with that and wouldn't still have 3 retention slots for their top 3 tradable assets. Would Calgary have gotten more if they retained? Yes probably but there are more than 1 factor on why they chose not to

Nah ppl just want Bahl gone cuz they dont like size or length on the back end. Ppl over value hanifin . I dont understand why we dont like size or length anymore after all last season we wanted to get more size but now its like we have to have speed and no size. The guy was going in the right directiocn in the playoffs last year..What happened? He's soft not aggressive, pinches way too much. Why we don't like it? He doesn't use it, ever! Fitz loves size on the backend, he's on record saying as much but it's gotta be useful. Can you honestly say he's using it? Honestly! If Bahl is in a pkg for Hanifin signed (if it's even possible with cap and signings to come), that has to be looked. He's a top 15-20 d in the league, Bahl never will be, let's be honest.
