Easy no for Winnipeg. They aren't trading their captain for that. None of the players/prospects offered by Buffalo do anything for Winnipeg.

The Jets would have to rework the whole lineup of the team if they trade Lowry. It's just not worth it for a team who's identity is basically "Adam Lowry." If you think I'm exaggerating, just look at which Jets play against your top lines. It's Lowry that starts 9/10 periods for us. He is the best shutdown centre in the league (and also a real upstanding guy), and that is irreplaceable on a team without a fantastic d-core like the Jets.

If Chevy is dumb enough to trade Lowry, I imagine the outrage from Jets fans would be similar to when the Oilers traded Gretzky. He's that important to the team.
