Brodin is worth more to the Wild than that. I doubt that would get them to trade him.

Really? Thats quite the payment. Not saying your wrong but seems like 2 talented young centers and 1st is something minessotta would love to have.

I do appriciate Brodin, but hes not on a good deal and its not like left d and veterans are a weakness on the wilds roster.

Don't really see why buffalo needs to spend even more on defense if your not trading power why are you getting brodin? That'll be over 30 mil in 4 left handed dmen next year.....and you're trading some of your best (touchable) assets to do it.

Not like it makes the team worse tho. Just not sure why you'd do it.

Brodin has been one of the best defensive-defensemen in the league for a while now. Minnesota will probably have no interest in moving him, and even if they did, it would take way way more than that

Brodin has been arguably their best defenseman for quite a few years, to the point they paired him with Dumba for years to cover up for his defensive lapses. There’s a reason they were comfortable going into this season with Faber penciled into a top 4 role as a rookie. Faber has been solid and the pair has been their top pairing so far but Faber likely doesn’t have the same success without Brodin. He’s quietly been a fantastic defensive defenseman for years.

The offer isnt bad btw, it’s just more of the Wild not having someone remotely close to Brodin ready to step in if they moved him in a trade. Do you want to blow a hole in your defense to try to address your needs at forward?

I mean it's not exactly a good deal for Minnesota. Rossi has become Minnesota 1c and he's not moving off. Joel Eriksson ek is 2c and either hartman / Freddy switch between 3c but freddy has locked down 3c right now. Krebs and Casey Middlestat does nothing for Minnesota right now. Minnesota is also stacked with Prospects. Also,, Brodin has a total NMC and he wouldn't waive and no reason for Minnesota to make itself weaker on D. Take away Casey and Krebs and A protected 1st does nothing to convince Minnesota to trade Brodin .
