Really? Tippett is a sick young power forward that can play in the top 6 and he is young, Hathaway is a legit 3rd/4th line that can help with PK and brings tough guy presence. I also think Ristolainen healthy can be valuable in the playoffs. I think Philly declines this

Tippett is a decent 3rd liner and hathaway is a very good 4th liner. Risto stinks and has never played a playoff game in his life. He isnt a playoff player.
Nylander is a bona-fide top end 1st liner and a verified playoff beast.
The leafs dont get anything in here that even makes them think about moving nylander, unless treliving is even dumber than i give him credit for, this is brutal for the leafs

Funny because Tippett has more points than Knies, who is playing on our top line. Difference of opinion I guess. We would be better defensively and tougher in the puck with this trade. Lackadaisical Willy can go figure skate in Philly

playing on a top line and being a 1st liner are very different things. Knies isnt a 1st liner either et this point. And this makes the 4th line better defensivly. it makes the rest of the team worse defensivly, Risto has been an abysmal defensive player for a decade, like bottom of the league bad.
