Seattle fans what do you think

Description
Just wanted to get Seattle fans opinions about McCann and Eberle. I’m guessing Eberle would be more likely to be traded and cheaper to get, but is McCann off the table? And if he’s not what could a possible deal look like? Also, I’d prefer not to give up any big assets for a 33 yr old so what could a realistic deal be there?

Zero chance Seattle retains that long on McCann and it would cost way too much to obtain him

The Isles need more help on LD. Romanov in the top 4 and Rielly in any lineup is a disaster. I loved it when Rielly joined his defensive partner behind the net and left a Sharks player all alone in the slot Tuesdays game for an easy goal. Sorokin is standing on his head but the defensive miscues oof Barzal's resurgence is going to go to waste at this point shakes head

Broberg should be the target. A big kid that can skate is easily worth a pick and floundering player like a Wahlstrom. Broberg is easily better than both those defenders on the left even with the growing pains and then you have the upside of a Hedman lite.

I don't know about Eberle, but the McCann trade is as unrealistic as they come.
He's on a team friendly deal and has scored way more goals than any other Seattle player since their debut. Seattle are also reportedly looking to add goal scoring talent up front.
The quality of assets you would need to give Seattle would make the trade a side move at best.

Yea I completely agree with you and I’d love Broberg but right now we have 5 LD on the roster and Idk if I see Lou adding another unless we get rid of 2 of them which shouldn’t be a problem but I don’t see Lou making that many moves. I’d love Broberg tho and I think with our D development we could really make him into something

Finally someone that even acknowledges the upside. Ppl are going to be shocked when he gets dealt for a 1st or 2nd and legit prospect. You cant teach size and that skating. I remember the hype on him at the Hlinka tournament in 2018. The Oilers simply ruined his development. I dont see the offensive upside of Hedman but he has the other tools.

I think Seattle would like more than anything to get a save every now and then. They arent close to this bad of a team as they are in the standings. Its clear from the talk of the pundits that they are in the goaltending market and would like to move on from Driedger. Grubauer easily passes through waivers like Campbell and can be sent down.
