Might be OK trade for Tanev, but really you're benching Giordano just to have Tanev take a spot in the lineup. We is Tanev who is Flames fourth best Dman so revered?

Brandon Tanev isn't worth that cap hit for a fourth liner. There is a lot cheaper options that do the same thing.
