It would be even more of a dream if we could work out kampf for another better b6 center

Seriously if he were to sign in Toronto would he be able to go to a park with his young kids and not have everyone wanting selfies or autographs? Be able to take his wife to a restaurant without the same garbage? No and that'll be his answer to Toronto for that reason.

I'm perfectly calm I'm rationally making my point I didn't insult you or anything. I brought out very legit points. He's a very private person and he realized the childhood fantasy is not the same as dealing with adult reality.

@SomeonesOffended I must say that I enjoy your banter on this site. I know some here take player trades with outrageous seriousness but usually it is with bold claims and confident player value declarations that can't be proved. Your relaxed hypothesis each time of what would be fun to see as a Leaf fan is a fun break from my stress filled life. Some of the people here angrily stating what their team's player is worth have been so wrong (latest was Zadorov) that it has almost matched Leaf's fan delirious player values. smile All the best!!

Leafs would much better having next season, having 3m Liljgren, 1m Niemela, and 3m in cap and their first than one Pulock.
Take a look at last season and Liljegren 18 minutes a night....was Pulock better or THAT much better?

I don’t know maybe he wasn’t but he can fill that top spot beside Reilly for the foreseeable future I think he’s worth the pick up it’s a lot to pay but if we keep our first for this year and draft a defender i think it makes it worth while

Eh hes overpaid and has been declining since 21-22 i feel like theres better options for the amount of money he is being paid and he also requires specific types of linemates to excel

Oh, more of this fantasy of finding a partner for Reilly. Teams play six Dman a night. Liljegren and Pulock play the same amount of minutes. Liljegren and Pulock have the same offensive number despite Liljegren getting no PP time, Pulock costs more, never mind Niemela will likely be a Leaf.

I’m just not sure if he’s worth it to sell what does he bring back a 5th? Maybe maybe a 3rd if we’re incredibly lucky but still it’s not likely and it’s not worth while to lose him for that little of a return

Plus they could keep jarnkrok and still have 1M in extra money but putting jarnkrok on the 4th line destroys whatever value he does have

Here's the objective math with trading Pulock for Liljegren and Niemela.
Leafs have 8m to spend.....6m Pulock, a 1m, 1m player or 3m Liljegren, 1m Niemla 2m Jarnkrok. That still gives the Leafs 2m in cap (plus the first and not the two thirds). It's subjective I know, but what is better for the Leafs.? Gotta think it's not doing the trades, especially if you believe in Niemela and Liljegren. Always what makes Pulock THAT special?

I know he’s only playing in the top 4 but he could excel in the top 2 I’m just trying to obtain Reilly a full time d partner

It would definitely be an opportunity based thing so you just dont really want to force it but if a team wants him for a decent return go for it absolutely

It would definitely be an opportunity based thing so you just dont really want to force it but if a team wants him for a decent return go for it absolutely

Yes if a team offered me a 3rd for him I’d take it and run until people start asking about him I’m content just waiting out his contract

Those prospects panning out and Marner taking a merit-based flat extension would be dreamy.

As for Stamkos, I could see him signing with the Panthers as a big FU to Tampa (I think first heard it on SDP, mind you).
