You're actually nuts if you think anyone is paying for Carter at his full cap hit at the TDL, especially when you expect it to be a cap strapped team that doesn't need a forward

The last few trade deadlines I’ve been on here looking at all the trades everybody posts and technically everyone is nuts but at the same time not too far off from actual deals that have been made. The craziest trade I’ve seen was Jeannot for 5 picks. If you actually pay attention to what everyone is posting you have to admit the craziest of the crazy trades they aren’t far off of the actual deals made.

Another problem is I don't see them adding another long term contract. We are retooling/rebuilding leaning more towards rebuilding and getting younger. Adding a 30 year old Rakell for 5 more years defeats the purpose.

I wouldn’t say fantasy cause if he ends up on the block at DL day teams are gonna find him useful he will just have to waive his NTC

Carter has said repeatedly he's not waiving his NMC because he's tired of moving his family. Yet he's the most traded player on CFACGM because Pens fans don't want to hear it. Carter will be 39 years old.

Carter doesn't HAVE to waive his NMC.
