Description

Robertson size is just to much of an issue.
Holmberg has no future with Minten and Cowan coming.
Lilly is better than Timmins.
Sammy sucks.
Moving Knies to the 2nd line gives two speedy skaters on both top 2 lines. Marner just doesn't have that with JT and Bert, which doesn't give him anyone he can send in a lone because of their speed.

Kinda makes no sense to say Holmberg as no future with the Leafs.......Domi is a UFA next season and Tavares in two . Minten is a centre but Cowan is a winger.
Now I admit Holmberg is a bottom liner but geez,

The third line's stats have been good

So wouldnt say that

Timmins good #7

Sammy backup or if rebounds challenge Woll

Niemela 2025 has a shot or could be traded

Only guy is Abruzzese who may be out

I just don't see Minten being a Leaf in October. Let him 1C with the Marlies. And no, Minten probably isn't a NHL 2C long term. Leafs are better getting a 2C when the Tavares/Marner cap are gone. One reason I don't like TDL trades...which don't improve the status of the team in the playoffs, is that the team miss out on future NHLers. The Leafs have so few potential NHLers in their system, I think it's foolish
to trade any away.
