No from Winnipeg. Zero need for either player and you're asking way too much for a rental even with retention.

Guentzel is the first one to say no though.

They can get better prospects. Kupari is going to be 24 soon and he just hasn't seemed to make things live up to 1st round hype.

That's a weak offer. If they end up deciding to trade Guentzel, they can easily get more than that.

Jets are a team that doesn't need a top6 winger as a rental. Connor, Ehlers, Perfetti, Vilardi, Iafallo/Nino all fill those spots already. Our depth wingers have shown that at least one of them can fill in on the 2nd line on any given night. What the Jets need is a 2c who can win more than 35% of faceoffs.

Also Salomonsson is the Jets only decent RD prospect, so he's not for sale unless Chevy can find a replacement.
