Calgary gets more. A 6 for 2 trade would never happen but through in Myers there where he gets flipped to a 3rd team then also send Calgary someone like Raty to get that value. Plus they have no need for Kuzy imo

Calgary is flush with wingers. No need for kuzmenko, unless there is a deal to flip him elsewhere. Even then, Raty would need to be included. Calgary could get a better package elsewhere

    First trade I like.
    Trades 2 and 3 I don’t.
Calgary has no interest in Kuzmenko, and they should keep Lindholm until end of the season.
Why would Vancouver trade their prospect player to Pittsburgh for Guentzel?
I rather have Pittsburgh keep Guentzel or move him somewhere else besides Vancouver.

Huberdeau is a shell of himself from his florida days and Mangiapane hasn't come anywhere near his 35 goal pace of 3 years ago. I don't know how you think this roster is "flush" with wingers. You may have a lot of them but none of them are of any value or impact and even fewer have even come close to scoring 39 goals Kuzmenko scored last year. Yes he's struggled this year but he's still on pace for 22 goals.

As for the trades I realize they are all in trades I just think the Canucks organization wants to keep building and building so they have a sustained run not just be a one year wonder.

I think you should swap Kuz with Brz. Might fit the other teams better. Pittsburgh gets a replacement player and then a pick for the down grade. Calgary gets a future RHD to replace Tanev eventually, at least ideally.

    Pens decline.

1st + A level prospect is the price, and Brzustewicz is not an A prospect.

Yes he is lol. He’s leading the OHL in points in his D+1 season. He’s a right handed defenseman. He’s 19 and is 6’ 190 lbs already.

I said Calgary was flush with wingers, not that they are performing. Its not like they can move Huberdeau,.

    Wingers:
    Huberdeau
    Zary
    Dube
    Mangiapane
    Ruzicka
    Pospisil
    Coleman
    Sharengovich
    Dueher
    Greer

    Centers:
    Lindholm
    Kadri
    Backlund

Our pipeline is even worse on D and Center. Kuzmenko is another declining asset, and it doesn't make sense to move out a young player for him to slot in on a weaker team. Not to mention we would have 2 actual NHL centers left. Even if kuzmenko posts 35 goals, that's not going to be enough to make Calgary a contender. The only value we would get is trading him (assuming his numbers were better). Otherwise this deal does very little for Calgary
