I can't see the Avalanche getting a skilled player like Evgeni Kuznetsov.

In replacement of RyJo? i think they would look to upgrade the position + they are adding Dowd. Kuzy is fast but imo hes unmotivated and wants out of Washington.

I know the Evgeni Kuznetsov rumours, which happened 2 years ago and in the end, it didn't happen.
Do you think this trade could happen on Trade Deadline 2024?

Overpaid a lot! You move RyJo and take … another RyJo (Kuznetzov) as his replacement. Plus, you move 1st round prospect as well

2021 - Capitals wanted to move Kuzy but his value was low.
2022 - Kuzy mad at Washington wanted traded BUT Backstrom and Wilson were set to miss time. Kuzy was promised he would be moved if he improved his value. Caps lied to him
2023 - Lazy, mad and unmotivated Kuzy. i side with him bc they should have moved him like the promised.

Nashville wanted him but i imagine they were able to sign ROR so that was why the trade fell through. Capital obviously can move him but they need to understand theyll likely need to eat cap and take far less than they want bc he wont try for them... suck bc when hes motivated hes a top 20-25 center in the league. 2018 he basically carried Washington to a cup

Kuzy is a lot better fast and skilled than RyJo. Kuzy is playing on a horrific Washington team atm.

I don't think either team does this as poor as RyJo has been this season. I think the avs have been happy with Gulyayev, and they'll probably keep him. I think Sean Behrens is the trade chip they'll use at the deadline.
