Seattle wants a better return than that especially if they're taking Samsonov on.

I can't see Seattle Trading Larsson unless they're getting a D prospect back that's ready to play top 4 minutes next year. And there will need to be a first to go along with that prospect. Seattle doesn't have a RD prospect ready to come up, so if they trade Larsson they'll need to sign a RD in the offseason and to get a top 4 RD in the UFA market they'll pay more than the 4 million they're paying Larsson. Since they have control for another year, I can't see Seattle trading Larsson unless they're getting a piece back that they could reasonably replace him with.

If I'm Seattle selling Larsson off, I'm expecting more than what CBJ got for Gavrikov and Korpisalo.

A first and a really good prospect, and I'm not doing salary favours... that costs extra.
