I don't know if Ottawa would accept. Ottawa struggles to get the puck out of their own zone and Chabot definitely helps that issue. While Chychrun is a great replacement, I think they'd only really trade someone for a RD. Another LD doesn't fix the issue they're in now, especially since Kleven will come up soon enough as another LD. I think OTT would pass and try to find a trade with Seattle or something centered around Larsson or Oleksiak instead.
1. Oleksiak is a LD, so your point about not wanting another LD goes out the window.
2. The benchmark for a fair deal on Chabot is a 1st and two 2nds.
A 1st + A 2nd + Fehervary exceeds that benchmark.
3. Chabot is being traded out for Fehervary and the picks.
It's not like a roster spot is being taken away from Kleven while he plays in Belleville.
4. You're grossly underrating Fehervary in comparison to Chabot.
Have a look at his scouting report from 1 month ago.

5. Ottawa is also getting more than 5 million in cap space per year.
Ottawa 100% accepts.
If Steve Staios somehow turns this down, he's worse than Pierre Dorion.
