I’d take Josi over EK65 but rankings seem fair enough. Maybe Sergachev a bit higher.
For top 5 I personally would go
1. Hughes
2. Heiskanen
3. Fox
4. Makar
5. McAvoy

Matheson is definitely higher in the list. Gulhe and Durzi deserve a spot.

Makar at 4 really?? Feel like he should be the unanimous #1, and I’m saying that as a Canucks fan who loves Hughes

I might be a tiny bit biased, but Morrissey should be higher yes?
I mean he is 4th in scoring amongst D-men counting from the beginning of last season up to now.
And he's very good defensively aswell so.

To be fair, prior to this year Morrissey wasn’t that great defensively. He’s improved this year but I think it’s fair having him in the tier he’s at in this post

idk, I don't really watch much of the Avs anymore, but Hughes dominates the ice every night. Last season or two seasons ago(the year after he won the Norris), I'd say he was narrowly the best d-man. Now Hughes' game is just at an all-new level that puts him ahead of every other d-man. I put Heiskanen, McAvoy and Fox higher just because I've noticed how well they can recover if they make a mistake. Maybe I'm just being salty cuz I felt he didn't deserve the Norris. IMO it should've gone to Josi who put up 96 pts and was doing great defensively, it's just I feel the NHL is sort of backwards when they gave it to Karlsson for great offense with no defense but not to Josi who was dominating offensively and defensively(Kind of damages credibility to my argument, but just trying to be fair here). Just my thoughts.
