Can't see Calgary accepting a 2026 1st. They'll want a 2024 1st.

I agree they will accept a 2024 1st. If no one offers a 2024 1st, I can see them accepting this though.

We will see how much teams decide to spend on Tanev. I do think a 1st is probable though.

They get better somewhere else than a 1 3 drafts away basically a player who'll have no impact for 4-5 years minimum. Maybe that gets you Larsson depends on the market.

Definitely sooner would be better. But collecting 1st round picks is never a bad thing. Those picks can be traded for good young players later on as well. It's a nice piece of currency.
