Even with Lyubushkin being 50% retained, almost an overpayment. Yes he would do better in Toronto but he has been THAT bad in Anaheim this year. If Toronto really wants him this is the right deal but that’s my thoughts on it.

From what’s been seen in the past, Nedeljkovic is a great backup, hasn’t had luck as a starter, so depending on how the Leafs would use him here, changes the trades outcome, but by the looks of things you have him scratched which is a bit odd

I like the Kuraly trade brings some depth into the bottom 6 for not much of a cost

Larsson trade seems even on both sides, just depends on if Seattle wants to keep Tolvanen or not, Kraken are getting good value back though.

Perry signing is nice too

Not sure why the Leafs bring Bogosian back

Lybushkin has been not good at all since he was in toronto, the rose coloured glasses for the like 10 good games he had beside Rielly really need to come off. He is replacement level at best at this point

Thanks.

Lyubushkin - willing to maybe overpay a bit because of familiarity with the team, has played well with Rielly in the past so if thats the tier of defenseman that I'm looking to acquire he'd be my top target in that range

Ned - just need a solid 3rd goalie that could maybe go on a run in the playoffs if you had to turn to him, only scratched bc Jones has been playing well in Toronto too, they'd be more like 2A/2B

Kuraly - agree, and like having another C option as I don't 100% trust Domi defensively as a C but he's been really good

Tolvanen - has a lot of hits and could complement a top 6, agree not sure if they'd move him but that's why I threw in Robertson to compensate - all good if not though, could slide Jarnkrok up and trade for another 4th liner

Bogo - want a right hand shot depth D, we don't really have any. Doesn't have to be him, but solid vet with team familiarity wouldn't be bad. Not important though

Lybushkin didn't even play well in TO. He was carried by playoff Rielly
