I think this would be a great deal for Edmonton and for San Jose. Maybe add one other small piece to San Jose but this would be interesting.
McLeod would be a great add but I just don't see it making sense for New Jersey.

In this scenario I think Edmonton would still need/benefit from one more solid RD. Someone to bump Ceci down to line 3 and Desharnais as the spare.

I don’t think the devils are trading McLeod, the article that was posted was later proven to be twisted words to get clicks. However, if we were to trade him I think he would warrant a mid to late 1st with how he’s been playing.

Oh, I didnt even see the article, I just think hes such a good fit and we already have his brother on a contract. I think if the devils are out of contention, they would be moving pieces for some picks, I agree though Mcleod seems like a stretch for a piece moving out. Just hoping

Finding an upgrade on ceci that doesnt cost multiple firsts is a tall order. I think the spot will be upgraded, just would need the offseason.

2025 1st (protected) for Tanev? Would be a rental situation. Tanev would be a very solid add. But a 1st is a steep price to pay. That's for sure.
