and again, you simply cannot invent a context that makes your guy look good because you like him. I have also literally given you the accurate context of his usage and his team mates but you just keep making up stories that match what you feel is true inspite of all evidence.

Stats observe a context but cannot explain all of it by numbers. You need to understand why those numbers appear. (It's math and physics BTW).

And BTW ya'll sh**ing on habs players but how many of you will come to excuse yourselves if my value fits the market, cuz I'm still waiting for Chiarot and Lehkonen trades .... wink !! I'm telling you how the context happens and why Savard is getting such numbers but you deny my description, are you the one doing a feeling about numbers?

dude, ive watched him play plenty and know very well why those numbers appear. They appear because he is very very very bad at defending against any half decent NHLer and he cannot move the puck out of the zone. He is too slow in making decisions, he has no lateral movement or puck skill and he spends too much time looking to hurt a guy 3 seconds after the puck is gone than he dos trying to remove the puck from other players when they have it. Because of this, the other team always has the puck and gets repeated shots and chances, many of them high quality from the slot and other good shooting zones.
IE his stats show he sucks because he sucks.

wow, a team over paid for chariot and it turned out horribly for them, what a great example. And you know who thought Lehkonen wasnt worth that price? People who dont like stats like you. Everyone who understood hockey knew Lehkonen was good and worth the price, and he was. Everyone owho understood hockey knew chariot was bad and the price was hilariously awful, and he was.
But what about edmundson? you were one of those guys swearing up and down he was worth a 1st+ and he gets a 3rd and 7th with 50% retained and it was still a bad trade for washington.

everyone who knows how trade is made knows that stats and market situation are 2 things and market situation and players' contexts have a higher impact on trade value cause trading is like doing a puzzle with skilled people ... Chiarot didn't match with the core and it was a bad trade, but the market value was there ....

No, the market value was not there, a gm made a bad trade. Unless of course you think no has ever made a bad trade ever because someone paid the price.
Chariot sucked then and he was never worth that value

nope, that's the market value because no gm has ever made a bad trade ever. All trades are good for everyone because that's the market value
