My only question is why? Why would the Bruins give up a 2nd round pick, a roster player, Boqvist (who I have no problem with him being in this deal), and one of the bruins top prospects. For two guys who haven’t done anything meaningful this year.

Meaningful this year....... Wennberg hasn't done anything meaningful since 016-17 season lol

If Kraken are on the outside I can see Wennberg being a pickup for a playoff team looking for an upgrade at 3C and PK.
Fans always concentrate on his statline, but his game is not built on scoring. Shockingly GMs look at other attributes too!
All that said Seattle are not trading him for another player on an expiring $4.5M deal and a prospect C, of which there's a fair few in the farm system.
I'd expect a 2nd round would be the cost, with additional picks if it were to come with any retention.
