my thinking is its going to be hard to find a 3C that makes sense so bolster the wing depth and hope goodrow can simplify his game and play C (not ideal of course)

Want to place a wager Megna is traded lol? He was solid defensively last year. Hawks are taking a shot he finds his game and then will flip him. They dont care about their lineup down the stretch

Sure what do you want to wager? The bringing in of players just to flip them is way less common that most on this site believe it to be. Yeah it works in video games but GMs in the real world need to consider the ramifications.
Maybe Hawks get an offer that they can’t turn down, but this is Megna we are talking about. How much help can he really bring to a contender? He would just end up watching from the press box like he was w/Seattle.

Eberle does not move the needle, he has not been good. Last season was definitely a blip above his usual.

A 1st round pick for Trenin? Youre trading a 1st for a 4th liner? Who also happens to be LW... WTF is wrong with you?
