Description

The Habs will probably be sellers again, they are getting closer to launch with their young guys but aren't there yet. Could Matheson be on the block?

AZ will get healthy again into the second half of the season and can still fight for that playoff spot. Adding a veteran to shore up the left side could be enough to push over the lip.

Matheson could be on the block, but he'll be more expensive this year than he'd be in following seasons. A 1st is also a necessity.

Go to your favorite sports stats site and filter for points leaders by defensemen. If you want to trade for any of the guys showing up in the 1st page and you are not offering a 1st round pick, you are doing it wrong.

Over the last 2 season, despite missing 40 games he rank among the top defensemen in the league in almost every category. He can play over 25 minutes, smooth skater with a very good offensive touch. He isn’t a Norris candidate but he is definitely, a top defenseman in this league at the moment and not sure if you are aware of the cost to acquire a top defenseman but that is not even close. Is salary also had to is value. The talk start with a top forward prospect. Anything less then that Hugues hang up the phone. Anything less then what Yotes received for Chychrun is insulting.
