Do you think Boston might get Tomas Hertl?

I think SJS would do this, especially if it's without any retention for Hertl -- the only caveat is the Sharks would have to know they're drafting #1 OA and getting Celebrini into the system

I think Hertl would probably wave to play with his fellow countrymen and go cup chasing but it really comes down to how aggressively San Jose wants to sell

Think you’ll have to find another team for Ully. But otherwise i could see this being their offseason.

I think Regula wins a roster spot next year. Either RD3 or #7.

If they let Debrusk walk give his slot to Freddy amd move Merk to 3rd line.

This trade doesn’t work for Edmonton maybe if u take Jack campbell then sure but atleast try making trades that would work for both teams

Damn I figured with the cap going up you’d at least have some room to re-tool the roster I didn’t realize it would still only be 14m

It's already been reported that all Canadian teams are on Linus Ullmaeks no trade list, So he's not waiving for the Oilers.

Noah Hanifin gets at least 7 x $7,500,000 if not closer to 7 x $8,000,000.

I seriously doubt that Tomas Hertl waives for Boston, He has said in the past that he's willing to wait out the rebuild in San Jose.

If edmonton don’t go search a rental goalie like vejmelka a the trade deadline, I don’t think the trade for Ulmark would work. But if they go search a rental goalie i would definitely do the Ulmark trade.
But Edmonton will need to unload campbell anywhere(like the sharks that they should do) and pay a 4th/3rd to a team to retains salary.
But if I’m Edmonton I would accept

Hanifin probably takes a hometown discount but yeah I feel like Hertl would be 50/50 on waving for Boston I know he has a family too he might not want to move across the country

I don't really think that trade does much for SJS.

Would not hate this offszn at all

Feel like the opportunity to trade for Hertl was before he signed that 8 year extension, seems like hes staying in SJ, wouldnt mind trading that package for him tho

Hanafin and Sway prob get 0.5m-1.5m more AAV, just ditch Hakanpaa and add his money onto them

JD is such a question mark this offszn: started his career out strong, huge regression in the covid szn where Bruce sent him to the 4th line, trade request, Bruce plays him on 1st line, plays best hockey of his career, trade request rescinded, slow start this szn and now hes picking it up

Very much on the fence with JD, if he does walk, would be a complete shame considering that 2015 draft grimace
