Both trades declined.
WSH-VCR trade rumour is getting old and I don’t see the Caps having interest in Kuzmenko.
Buffalo isn’t willing to trade Casey, Greenway won’t be a good fit for the Canucks, and Canucks shouldn’t trade their draft picks.
I know Vancouver has an interest of Greenway, but he’s not that useful TBH.

Absolute dog$h!t offer for Mitts & Greenway
1- we don’t wanna trade either guy
2- we are trying to win sooner then later, so “futures” would be of no interest to us

Sorry, but your proposal just doesn’t make any sense at all for the Sabres

I didn’t like the Greenway trade at first
But he’s actually turned into a pretty solid bottom6 forward for us. He plying pretty well & would be useful to a contender imo
Our coach loves him though & i doubt we trade him

Lol calling it a dog**** offer is ridiculous. It's objectively a big offer.

Idea would be Buffalo uses the assets in the summer to go after a RHD.

If you take out Hunter and Vancouver’s first round pick, and trade Vasili Podkolzin and Jet Woo along with the other draft picks.
Would that make sense?

ZERO INTEREST
We have PLENTY of assets to trade for a RD if we want
Your offer blows, & there’s no chance AT ALL of a deal like this
Even if the “value was fine” we aren’t looking for futures
I’ll say it again, WE AREN'T LOOKING FOR FUTURES
Keep dreaming bud 🤣🤣🤣

For Mitts & Greenway?
No
Those aren’t players we are looking to move

Podkolzin isn’t a guy we’d have interest in- we are loaded at forward already, even if we did trade away Mitts & Greeny

Woo might be of some interest- but i think we’d be looking more for a “stay at home” physical type than Woo
And he’s not good enough to consider putting Mitts in the deal
Maybe Krebs?
But like i said, i don’t think Woo is the style defenseman we’re looking for

I don’t see us being great trade partners
And i don’t see us trading Mitts or Greenway

Sabres want help now, not projected 3rd pair-ers and picks. But at least you're on the right tracks

U think Woo is the style defenseman we are looking for?
We need a defensive oriented guy, not an offensive type

And idk why we’d care much for Podkolzin??

Ok, sure
But I’d think we’d wanna feel MUCH more confident about the guy if we’re giving up Mitts for him

Oh yeah I don't think this trade is good at all, but like for a 2nd he maybe worth a shot

I know only a crackhead would think the Sabres would want to trade Mittelstadt & Greenway for futures

You’re not getting them
Deal with it

Idk… up until last year he was talked about as a bust
He had a resurgence last year, but that still only inspired VAN to sign him to a 1 year deal
He’s a step away from being had for MUCH cheaper
I wouldn’t do a 2nd for him

While other Sabre fans have unanimously agreed to not make that trade, it has the frame work for a good deal.
Hunter is a rhd while being drafted 74th OA has a huge offensive upside.
Some tweaks could make this work if Kulich and Savoie are readyby the tdl.
