Description

Not much money to do much but would love to see if the Canucks picked up the phone and call up Anaheim to see if Zegras is available after the Gauthier trade. I think the base of the return of a 1st rd pick and Lekkerimaki could get the ball rolling. However, I'm not too sure if he fits the Tocchet system but at least he'll have a bigger opportunity to play center if the lotto line sticks the rest of the season.

Obviously not everyone is gonna love this but would like to hear what y'all think.

all the players he's traded for are 3rd/4th liners. they need a pure sniper to compliment their other upcoming stars. also lekkermakki and gauthier for the memes. 2024 and still going for size isn't gonna bode well

read the description is says base for a proposal rumour has it zegras isn't that liked in anaheim either. you'd know tho you talk to him on the daily

I agree with the fit, is kuzmenko getting traded tho? if so, gonna be lacking a lot of depth offence aside from the 3rd line, given lotto stays together

myers is for salary. small and not lighting it up... kinda like zegras?? his value is probably as low as its been a the moment

He just came off of injury, He'll be fine. if you want Zegras you need to offer better. because other team would offer far better than this for a base.

Lekkerimaki has been lighting it up though. Just won World Juniors MVP with 7 goals and 3 assists in 7 games, and leads the SHL in goals and points among U21 players (if you change it to U23 he’s still 1st in goals and only 1 point off of 1st with 6 less games played)

Tocchet would despise Zegras. He's struggle just as much as Kuzmenko to get ice time.

Even if he was a fit I wouldn't move Lekkerimaki in a deal for him.
