Trotz on the hunt for a legit top 6 center prospect

Created by: SnipeRV
Team: 2023-24 Nashville Predators
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 10, 2024
Published: Jan. 10, 2024
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Trades
1.
NSH
  1. Zegras, Trevor
Additional Details:
Need for need trade. We need C depth and I feel like the Ducks could use more scoring wingers. I think Zegras would fit in Brunette's system really well. Wood and Parssinen are two bigger guys that I could see Verbeek liking.
2.
NSH
  1. Lundell, Anton
Additional Details:
Brunette coached Lundell for his breakout season. May not have as much offensive upside as I'd home and could be too much overlap with Svechkov.
FLA
  1. Afanasyev, Egor
  2. Fabbro, Dante
  3. 2024 2nd round pick (TBL)
Additional Details:
No idea what the ask would be in return. Sending back two cost-controlled players.
3.
NSH
  1. Kasper, Marco
Additional Details:
Seems like Kasper and Danielson are redundant for you and you already have Larkin/Copp/Compher signed with term up the middle. Seems like Stevey likes Danielson a lot more, so we take the gamble on Kasper even though he is struggling in NA.
DET
  1. Fink, Aiden [Reserve List]
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (NSH)
Additional Details:
No clue what the ask is coming back but I know Stevey likes his 2nd rounders. Preds sell high on Fink who's top 10 in scoring in NCAA as a freshman.
4.
NSH
  1. Kulich, Jiri
Additional Details:
You already have Tage/Cozens/Middlestadt/Krebs up the middle and are stacked with undersized forwards in Benson/Kulich/Savoie/Ostlund. Not sure who all out of this group ends up at C in the NHL but I'll take a stab at Kulich first.

Return is too low for Detroit. You could probably get Kasper for something like Fedor Svechkov, Matthew Wood, and 1st. The good news is you get to keep Aiden Fink.

I 100% guarantee Fink's value is greater than a 7th rounder today, but I'm sure we would be happy to pay more. This is classic case of overvaluing your own prospects and not appropriately valuing others.

😂Nice joke. Why are you not including Kemell/Askarov to make the trades more fair then? You are the one overvaluing.

Kulich isn’t going anywhere, especially not for a 179 of C. How about Savoie or Ostlund or Walburg and a 2 for Saros?

lol dude you are triggered. Point was you have a ton of centers signed for a while. Not saying you guys don't want Kasper, just saying he would be getable.

Dude you have no grasp on the Red Wings. Kasper is in no way "getable." That's not even a word, Einstein. LOL
