Who's analytics say this? Remember analytics are only as good as the source of those analytics. Expected goals yadda yadda is a person's opinion doing the analytics. And I have in the past found a lot of these analytics sights know sh**.

XG. But Expected goals are just based on shot location. Not an opinion, just a calculation. GAR, WAR, and RAPM are more opinion based, cause the calculation is invented by someone. But they all use shot location as the main input. Cernak doesn’t look good on any of them whereas the traditionally thought top 10 D-man in the League dominate the top 10s of all these metric. I think there’s some value in them.
