Bjugstad isn't Tyler Motte. He's not so cheap that you can afford to bring him back a second time at the deadline. This is a horrific move for Edmonton. Yeah I thought Bjugstad played well last year in the playoffs, but they let him walk. This is a hefty price to pay. If they wanted him, they would've found a way to resign him last summer. Poor asset management.

That forward group is pretty tough to play against tho.

AZ passes, last year made sense but this year AZ is in the hunt (prolly wont make playoffs) but close and bjug is signed for next year (vs last year), trading him for another pick sends a bad message to the team and fans.
