Trades
1.
CGY
  1. Broberg, Philip [RFA Rights]
  2. Campbell, Jack
  3. 2024 1st round pick (EDM)
  4. 2025 3rd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
I think Edmonton will most likely just buyout Campbell but, if they decide not too I think this is a reasonable trade.

Going off Chicago receiving a 2nd for the Bailey buyout, Campbell's contract would be worth 3 2nd rounders. Here I went with the 1st = 2 2nds
Broberg + 3rd = the last 2nd + Vladar + Duehr

Vladar has not been good but he does win about half the games he plays and his caphit isn't too high and only lasts the 1yr.

Duehr is just a cheap 13th forward Edmonton could cycle in and out of the lineup
EDM
  1. Duehr, Walker
  2. Vladar, Daniel
Additional Details:
Calgary would probably like to make space for Wolf without losing Vladar for nothing, this accomplishes that.

They also get a young LD you can take a chance on and the obvious picks.

I would just keep Campbell in the AHL, they don't really need the cap space from buying him out and if by some miracle he finds his game you might be able to trade him at 50% retention for a pick
2.
CGY
  1. Reaves, Ryan
  2. 2024 5th round pick (CGY)
  3. 2025 3rd round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Toronto could just keep Reaves and play him the the AHL or as the 13th and the caphit wouldn't really affect them

Dubé has been playing very poorly but, he's young-ish and can still turn it around. Toronto gets him for a 3rd and he signs something like 2yrs 2mil to play with Jarnkrok on the 3rd line with Minten or Domi or Robertson

the 5th is for taking Reaves
TOR
  1. Dubé, Dillon [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
In this scenarion Dubé doesn't turn around the bad season he's having, if he does Calgary would ask for more but, he has had a serious drop in production.
He might have been the only Flame who liked Sutter having had better seasons year after year with him lol
3.
CGY
  1. Goodrow, Barclay
  2. Jones, Zachary
  3. 2026 3rd round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
This trade assumes the NYR decide to extend Lindgren and Chytil comes back healthy next year, they aren't really strapped for cash this year but in the 2025 off-season they'll need to resign Laf, Miller, Igor, Cuylle and possibly someone I,m forgetting.

Rangers get two players that are young-ish and fill in some roster spots

Goodrow probably has Calgary on his 15team no trade so I think this is quite unlikely
NYR
  1. Ruzicka, Adam
  2. Solovyov, Ilya
Additional Details:
Again Calgary gets another LD that's young and start to rebuild the left side of the defense.

Goodrow could also be flipped with retention for more picks later on.
4.
CGY
  1. Peeke, Andrew
Additional Details:
Columbus needs to free up some space on defense, especially on the right side
Severson, Gudbranson, Jiricek, Boqvist etc all ahead of him in my view
He probably won't cost much.
CBJ
  1. 2024 4th round pick (CGY)

It's the coming off-season, Tanev would be a free agent
In which case you have an equal opputunity to sign him as any other team

Nice to know that Craig Conroy, Is just letting Hanifin, Lindholm and Tanev go without getting back any assets for them.

I mean this is the off-season. I'll let every other ACGM guess where and what will happen with those 3

"Columbus needs to free up some space on defense, especially on the right side. Severson, Gudbranson, Jiricek, Boqvist etc all ahead of him in my view" -> Yes, exactly.

"He probably won't cost much." -> I think he'd cost you even less than you have here. Something in the 6th, 7th, or FC range. If CBJ had an offer of just a 4th on the table, I think he'd be gone already.

Rangers accept but don’t see Calgary being interested. Ruzicka is better than Goodrow. Jones would be an interesting fit though.

Ruzicka has been I and out of Calgary's lineup and honestly might be put on waivers (can't remember if he's exempt) if/when Pelletier and Kylington get called back up.
I still like Goodrow as a defensive player and maybe going to a new team gives him a little boost

Lmfao I don't think he's that cheap!
It's not going well for him this year but, he's still 25 with size, that in itself is somewhat valuable

If you want to give us more for him I won't complain haha. He's 25 with size and a good shot (and had 2 points tonight), but he's kind of a mess defensively, takes a lot of penalties, and generally gives up a lot of goals, all while making $2.75M. Could be a good buy-low 3rd-pair guy with the right coach in the right system.
