Monahan can't even stay healthy, There's no way he can handle 1C duties on a regular basis.

Rather not sign Monahan and look to move Ullmark that could give us enough cap to try targeting a bigger name like guentzel or Reinhart.

I want Reinhart as our 1C guys a stud and could fill bergys role as the PP1 bumper really nice. Also a solid 2 way guy which bruins love

Dont see Reinhart reaching the open market. Think he re-signs

It doesn’t need to be a center. It can be a forward if we decide to go down that route. I think I’d rather invest in DeBrusk vs signing Toffoli. I know Toffoli is scoring at a higher rate this year, but contracts are futures

Part of me wonders about a three way deal that includes Ullmark going to one team for a first and that first/other considerations going to San Jose for Hertl

I think Bruins fans overrate Merkulov and underrate Lysell at this point. If Lysell continues to play like he has, I expect him to pass Merkulov for a third line role. Merk without the powerplay and the ability to dominate shot selection isn’t as productive as he’s being portrayed as. He depends on being able to set up to the right of the goal and unleash his shot. There are others better suited to do that in Boston
