If you're paying that price you better know that Lindholm is resigning

This definitely assumes Lindholm and Guentzel resign but like I said it would destroy our cap next year.

I just can't see Trotz going big trade hunting like this until Duchene's buyout goes down and Joey's contract is off the books.

Completely agree, I'd give this <1% chance of happening. But its sad to me to think about Josi not getting another chance to really compete in the playoffs while he's still in his prime.

Personally I'm not a fan of this trade for CGY.

Do you think that either Barrie{$4.5M) or Glass($2.5 x 2) are worth their caphit? Based on last year's deadline taking on 2.5M cost a 3rd round pick, this is likely more expansive.

The 1st is obviously great, and Schafer is a former 1st but I haven't been impressed with him in the AHL so far, if it was another first instead I would be more than happy with that trade.

I think I'd take a 1st + 2nd ahead of the package you offered.

Hoping he ages like fine wine and he's still got it when we get back to competing again, probably 2-3 years from now. He really just needs a partner who lets him do his thing and brings out the best in him like Ellis used to do

One of the better Guentzel offers I've seen on CF... a trade like this ultimately comes down to how much Dubas and Co. would like Tomasino as opposed to other Young players that would be offered... but the 1st/2nd is a good starting point... I wouldn't complain at all if that was the return...
