This is all perched on Brady & Brett signing matching deals to retire as Canes together, wholesome and effective. Noesen can probably get more on the open market, but the hope is his desire to win a cup and play in the same place for the longest time in his career wins out. I think FUS is ready for the NHL by next season. Chatfield may get longer term and between $2.5-$5M depending on if they see him as a long-term Burns replacement. LD isn't too much of a concern with the inevitable Slavin extension and Nikishin coming over. I think Morrow makes the team in 2025 too, taking Burns' spot (not necessarily on top pair). With Nikishin, Morrow, and FUS on ELCs, there shouldn't be too much of a cap squeeze come 25/26.

Only concern here is losing Teuvo, but I'll make peace with that if it means FUS @ <$900k.

Unless those deals are 8 years long, they wouldn’t sign those.

Drury is missing on this roster and I think FUS may need one more year of development before jumping up to the NHL. Skjei and Pesce will make more and there's a good chance only one of them will be back next year. Also Martinook will get more as well.
