Van FO loves Willander. They considered moving back in the draft but decided not simply because they couldn't lose Willander. Maybe another way for Buch to Van but I just can't see Willander moving.

I would do it if you replace Willander with Brzutewicz and we will add a 1st round pick and you wouldn’t need to add your 2nd.

It’s an all in situation this season but it’ll take a big get if either Willander or Lekki is in a deal. This isn’t it with Buchy. He could be exactly what’s needed but it’s not clear cut guaranteed. The late 2nd is more like fluff. Swapping out Kuzmenko & his cap hit is ok if giving up on him.

I don't think they are all in. It's not Allvin's style to go full Jimbo. From what I understand, their 2024 1st and all other prospects outside Willander and Lekkerimaki are on the table. Maybe he'll surprise us or Aquaman won't be able to hold back from meddling.

If PA is willing to move those assets he has many players he could go out & get & not what we are spitballin

Trading a Russian winger for another Russian winger doesn’t make sense.

I understand you not wanting to trade Willander. But saying Buch and Kuzmenko are the same because they are both Russian is a not very smart statement…Buch would immediately be the 2nd best forward on the Canucks.

It makes a lot of sense when one is out producing and plays a much more conducive two way style.

Still don’t see any reason to trade Buch if Willander isn’t on the table.

Bruscewitz and a late first is a significantly worse package than Horvat was just traded for. The pick positioning is pretty drastic in terms of speculation.
