At first glance, start the first 3 from scratch. Montreal's reported asking price (based on comparables) is a 1st or 2nd and a prospect, a 5th and a rental AHLer/injury call-up is not even remotely close. The cost for any team to eat Reaves' contract plus the rest will be more than that. Calgary isn't going to want a veteran 4th liner, a 3rd and a B/C prospect for Tanev, start with a 1st or comparable prospect.

I wouldn't do it for just 2 3rds. Goalie market is apparently very high prices. Honestly I wouldn't do it for less than a 1st if cap dumps are going back the other way

Meh, Samsonov is on an expiring contract and Reaves is able to be almost entirely buried if push came to shove. Blackwood isn't exactly an elite goalie. If you did Samsonov + Reaves + 1st, I think that is an absolute steal for the Sharks given the acquisition cost of Blackwood is next to nothing and you can use that 1st to go trade for a starter in the offseason.

Sammy is a zero who can even play now, Reaves is a negative asset. the cap space they take up is worth a 1st
